UPON ARRIVAL

Please arrive on time for your appointment. You will be given instructions prior to your appointment on how to enter.

DEPOSITS REQUIRED

ALL bookings are now made online via the booking system. To secure a slot, a non refundable deposit is required and will be deducted from the treatment or rolled over to the next appointment. Deposits will be $50 for all facial treatments and consultations and $100 for cosmelan and acnelan. The deposit is non-refundable, non-transferable between clients and not usable on product purchases. If you choose to cancel your appointment, your deposit is forfeited so please be mindful with rescheduling vs cancelling your appointment.

 

NEW CLIENTS & CONSULTATIONS

You will be sent an online questionnaire 1 week prior and must be filled in before coming in. The consultation will consist of:
A discussion of medical history, skin goals, product prescription, treatment options, treatment plan, contraindications & a skin analysis under a woods lamp will be performed.
You will be given a treatment plan, information pamphlets and sheets to know how to prepare for your future appointments and holistic approaches to look after your skin.

Please ensure your number is correct as all reminders and confirmations will be sent through email and text message. All information is kept confidential and is solely for the purpose of providing a safe service and environment for your individual needs.

 

NEW CLIENTS WITHOUT CONSULTATIONS

 All new clients are able to book a treatment without a consultation IF you are wanting a one-off treatment or wanting a treatment for maintenance. New clients are only able to book express treatments, level 1 facials & relaxation focused facials. You must give adequate information when you fill in your new client form, otherwise your appointment may be declined. To be an appropriate candidate to receive a treatment without a consultation you must:

  • not have cystic & inflammatory acne
  • not have an active flare-up of eczema, dermatitis & psoriasis on your face
  • you've previously had a facial & know basic information on what to expect
  • your skin goals are superficial only (hydration, skin clearing, massage & relaxation etc) all other skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation & scarring will require a consultation.

EXISTING CLIENTS
 

In order to give you the best treatment, we kindly ask that all existing clients fill out our online questionnaire prior to every appointment. The link will be provided 1 week before your scheduled appointment by SMS. Please ensure your number is correct as all reminders and confirmations will be sent through email and text message. All information is kept confidential and is solely for the purpose of providing a safe service and environment for your individual needs. All existing clients must fill out a form before every appointment to record new/current skin concerns. Failure to do this may result in an altered treatment that may not meet your desired results.

 

 

CANCEL, RESCHEDULE, NO SHOW POLICIES 

Your appointments are very important to us. We understand that sometimes reschedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice for late cancellations and rescheduled appointments.
Less than 48 hours notice will result in the loss of your deposit fee. Please understand that we are an appointment based clinic, therefore we can only accept rescheduling twice for one appointment. Third rescheduling will result in the loss of a deposit fee and will require another non refundable deposit to secure a slot.
"NO SHOWS" will be charged of the reserved service amount with an invoice that will be sent via email.

 

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferrable between clients and cannot be redeemed for cash. Gif vouchers are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Gift vouchers can be used on retail products or treatments. You must have a copy of your gift voucher or gift voucher number at your appointment and hand it to your therapist before the treatment commences. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session. Late cancellation, rescheduling and no-show terms also apply to gift vouchers.

 

LOYALTY CARDS

Skin Smile Remedy no longer offers loyalty cards and cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Skin Smile Remedy reserves the right to without notice:
1) terminate the scheme
2) decline to issue loyalty cards
3) withdraw or cancel the loyalty cards.
4) alter or amend the terms and conditions of the Skin Smile Remedy scheme.

 

PUNCTUALITY

We ask that you please be courteous of your therapists’ valuable time and attention. We kindly ask you to come to your appointment no earlier than 5 minutes prior. Due to the nature of some clients requiring additional time we kindly ask for your patience if we are running a few minutes late. Please note that Skin smile remedy will always try to allow plenty of notice should this occur. To ensure every client receives the best service, please be aware that should you be more than 15-20 minutes late, we may have to reschedule or modify your treatment.

 

PURCHASE OF RETAIL PRODUCTS AND TREATMENTS

Retail products and treatments must be paid for in full at time of purchase or ordering.

 

PRICE ALTERATION

Skin Smile Remedy reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Skin Smile Remedy accepts bank transfer, BeemIt, AfterPay and all card payments (credit and debit) will incur a $1.95 transaction fee.
